CLASSES

Regular classes are held at our our main location in Toronto (Birchmount Rd & Sheppard Ave) on Sunday afternoons. Spirit of Aloha recognizes that our students come to us at various stages of life and bring different skills to the table. Our classes are structured to accommodate all audiences - from the total novice to the competitve dancer.

• Kamaiki - Beginner & Intermediate: Ages up to 13. All new students to our 'Ohana will begin in this class.
• Keiki - Intermediate & Advanced: Ages up to 13. Students in this class have danced with Spirit of Alohafor at least two years and are familiar with the 'Ohana's style of dance. *Exceptions are under Kumu's discretion.
• Holona - Beginner & Recreational Ages 13 and above. All new students to our 'Ohana will begin in this class.
• Mawaena - Intermediate: Ages 13 and above. Students in this class have danced with the Spirit of Alohafor at least two years and are familiar with the 'Ohana's style of dance.
• Wahine - Advanced class: Ages 13 and above - enrollment by Kumu's invitation only.
